Our mission is to demystify technology for law enforcement and help companies understand the complexities of public safety operations—laying the foundation for productive partnerships, responsible data sharing, and public trust.
Our Founder
Billy Kewell is the founder of Auriga Safety and brings nearly two decades of experience across the legal, safety, and security sectors. His career has focused on bridging public safety and emerging technology, with a proven track record of operational leadership in both government and the private sector.
Before founding Auriga Safety, Billy served as a Law Enforcement Liaison at Uber, where he worked directly with local, state, and federal agencies. In this role, he supported criminal investigations, responded to on-platform incidents, and guided emergency response efforts. He also played a key role in educating law enforcement about Uber’s systems, data capabilities, and disclosing that data to law enforcement.
Billy’s foundation in public safety was built during his nine years with the U.S. Secret Service in the Chicago Field Office. There, he led and supported complex investigations involving financial fraud, counterfeiting, and protective intelligence. His protective assignments included advance security operations for the President, Vice President, former presidents, and visiting foreign dignitaries.
Billy’s unique blend of public and private experience informs Auriga Safety’s mission to create stronger partnerships between tech companies and public agencies—and to make safety a shared responsibility across sectors.

Chris Brown is a digital strategy expert and co-founder of Auriga Safety. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, communications, and security-focused messaging, Chris brings a unique perspective to public safety—one rooted in clarity, reach, and strategic impact.
As CEO of DIGI Search, Chris has led high-performance campaigns for healthcare, education, and public sector organizations nationwide. His expertise in digital infrastructure, platform optimization, and behavior-driven content strategy has helped clients engage hard-to-reach audiences, build trust, and drive compliance in critical environments.
At Auriga, Chris leads the development of digital safety content and LMS training systems tailored for institutions like airports, universities, and municipalities. His focus is on ensuring life-saving guidance is not only created, but delivered effectively—at scale, on time, and in language that sticks. Chris holds a degree in Film and Television from the University of Notre Dame, and brings a storytelling-first mindset to every solution Auriga delivers.
